I've been doing everything but that. Moving hundreds of pounds of mulch, fighting an epic battle with ferns, burning out the neighbors, building mountains of trash, but no wall rebuilding. Oddly enough the wall is more or less rebuilt now. no thanks to me! tomorow, I don't know what I'll be doing. Probably something equally not to exciting. But on friday night I have a meeting, so I have to be back in town!!!1 that's good. that's all.

built a new wall, one section is basically done. The trouble wall is more trouble. We tediously removed all of the rotten wood. Oh right, no ceilings collapsing, we built a very fancy brace thingy for the ceiling. If that sounds sketchy it's only because it is sketchy. Anyway, removed rotten. Then found more rotten. It would be quicker to take the wall out and rebuild it(or so I hear). So, tomorrow I think we build new wall, half of today wasted. But I don't mind I get paid hourly. In other news, my mother cooks strange healthy food. It makes me fart a lot.

So, the ride to seattle was too long. It always is. zoom forward to today. I ripped out a bunch of siding. I found out the wall under the siding was completely rotten. We have to rebuild the entire wall, I've never rebuild a wall, interesting. Also, a tree fell on the roof of the garage. I got to get on the roof with a chainsaw and demolish the tree, that was fun. My parents eat strange healthy food. The end.

so, it's been a while since I've updated here. but I have my password again. I remembered it a while ago in a stroke of genius(luck). So I'm gonna update, why not.

last night I had a dream. Karai(the female leader of the foot clan after shredder dies). Was on a mexican TV show. They thought she was mexican and were speaking to her in spanish. But since she apparently has a super... um... ninja memory she was remembering what they were saying and repeating stuff but in a different way and they thought she spoke spanish. And there was too much product placement in the show. She accidently called a computer a sony fajita instead of sony Vaio.

When I woke up, well half awake. I decided all laptops should now be called tacos. tacos are like fajitas. and a laptop is kinda like a hard taco shell right?. So there.

Also, fuck my landlord. We got a call this morning(4 calls) saying she was gonna show the appartment today. Apparently she isn't aware that she legally has to give us 24 hours. and regardless if she showed the place today at 11 she would wake up a sleeping, naked, and very grumpy Ivan. That shit doesn't look good to potential renters. Luckily my roommates, anticipating this situation, called her and said nu uh. Thats all.

ps- her fucking phone calls woke me up damnit.

Okay, I went to one of John's classes today. how interesting is that? well, I learned a few things. first i learned that this college is full of pretentios asses and crazy people. and a strange combination of the two, even the hippies are arogant assholes. Anyway, the class was logic, the book for the class was deductive reasoning. we spent the first 15 minutes of class leading up to the definition of a conjunction. wow. yep, 15 minutes to explain to a bunch of college students what the word and was. I wispered to John. 'is he just defining a conjunction' and john was like, no he can't be. but alas. that is all it was. than he explained a bunch of stuff that if you think about it doesn't make sence. then he explained that for it to work you have to not think about it. and basically the rest of the time he was teaching us things we should have learned between kindergarden and 3rd grade, but he used a hell of a lot of syllables to explain it to us. He diffinitly sounded smart if you were an idiot. The strange thing is that it looked like most of the class was really interested and learning things. there gears were really turning. and when he covertly explained what a negative sign does someone actually got it wrong, it was mind boggling. But the best thing he said during the entire class, and this is priceless, was 'You can't fit a NOT in P' yep. that is an important part of the class. yay. Anyway, just thought I should let you all know about my exciting experience.

okay, this is a strange entry. I have been in chicago for a day and a half now. But I have noticed something very strange. Okay, theoretically because there are supposed to be so many more black people here than in podunk Idaho people aren't racist here and all that jazz, right??? Well, it sure doesn't feel that way. when I got off the bus(mostly white people on the bus), guess who was dealing with the luggage, yep, a black guy that looked like he didn't get paid enough. then go into the station and there are tons of seemingly well of white guys walking around, and behind almost every counter was a poor black person. hmmmm. suspicion. than I go to the university, which is full of rich white people. and i go to the bagel place, and behind the counter, all black people. suspicious. hmm. it seems to me like this place is a little more racist than seattle. or a lot more. where black people get stuck with the shitty low paying jobs so they can't afford college, so there kids are going to have the shitty low paying jobs. hmm. and the whole time they have to make coffee for rich arogant jewish kids at this crazy college. Ohh, there are a lot of jewish people here, anyway. it just feels like this whole city is secretly very very backwards in the way it works. maybee I am wrong, I've only been here for two days. who knows.

The Train

Ok, if you ever decide to go across the country and you are making the decision wether to take the quick airplane or the exciting train. Let me tell you a few things. First the train is a lot cheaper, and worth every penny less. The trip will be a few days, and you won't be able to sleep more than an hour at a time. and you will probably get a killer headache by the second day, and here is the strange part. your teeth might start hurting a lot. because of all the vibrations. it really sucks. Anyway. Then they show movies in the lounge car. Terrible movies like mission impossible 3 that only make your headache worse. And while you are going through montana it will seem larger than you ever thought possible. It just keeps going and going. After all this you start getting greasy and just want to take a shower. you really really want to take a shower. and Finally you think you are getting close to your destination and than the conducter says there will be a 2 hour delay. 2 more hours of train monotony. And when you finally get to your destination you look in a mirror and you look like a hobo who hasn't showered in days. probably because it has been days since you got the opportunity to shower. Anyway. the only way to make a train ride that long fun would be to get a sleep car things. one with beds. and hopefully have an SO with you to make the bed worth having. wink wink. but if you had the extra 400 to get the room why not just fly and be wherever you are going a few days faster. so. the moral of the story. don't take a train a long distance. It is not worth it.

so, some of you may have noticed that I never ever update this silly thing. that could be because I hate live journal, or because I am lazy, or because I am sooo busy I have no time. Or, it could be because I forgot my password a long time ago and didn't care enough to find it, until right now. so maybee you will see more updates from me in the future. or not. who knows.
